Brian's corporate presentations combine hands-on coaching with a discussion of the elements of effective communication. Included are:
-- The "Good News" about presentations. Why there are no rules --only guidelines-- for optimum delivery.
-- Arranging, editing, and prioritizing your material for top-notch focus. Here Brian uses his skills as an author and copy editor to help polish structure, syntax, usage, and vocabulary choices.
-- The physicality of a great presentation. Brian demonstrates how to use yourself-- and your space-- for best results.
-- Brian demonstrates the "30-second cure" for common delivery flaws including the vocalized pause ("ah", "um" etc.) and the instant remedy for "going blank."
-- The "flow" of good speaking. Here Brian uses his skills as a coach for acting and commercial/voice-over advertising to teach speakers how to deliver the "well-chosen word" for maximum effect.
-- How to prepare for- and deal with- "resistance".
-- How to implement solid openings, strong closings, and the importance of summarizing throughout the presentation.
